Blockchain Technology-based Training Path Aims To Train 139 Students Over Six Years

A blockchain technology-based training path aims to train 139 students over six years. Health & wellness, clean energy, regulatory technology, and indigenous issues are the areas where the training path will focus on. 15 industry partners from various sectors support the training path. Becoming the most multidisciplinary blockchain-based training path across the world is a plan of the path.

The University of British Columbia (UBC) is a public research university who launches the training path.

A flagship partner will be a pharmaceutical company called Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd. Funding will be provided for the support of blockchain and healthcare research.

Canada blockchain technology industry can be boosted. A capacity for master students can be built in this area. The capacity for the master students can’t just be built, but the capacity for Ph.D. students can be built in this area. Next-generation tools and applications will be offered to the students for addressing issues. The issues which are related to FinTech, engineering & computer science, and information governance will be addressed.

The students will be provided with high-value internships with the support of a non-profit organization called Mitacs. Business challenges are solved through Mitacs. Boosting growth and innovation in Canada is a purpose behind the business challenges solve.

The non-profit organization Mitacs was set up in the year 1999. It is headquartered in Vancouver, BC. It collaborates with 60 universities and more than 6,000 companies. It has 15+ years of experience in designing and providing research & training programs in Canada, according to the official LinkedIn account of Mitacs. It has also 15+ years of experience in working with federal and provincial governments for building partnerships which support innovations related to industrial and social.

The students can analyze blockchain solutions. They can’t just analyze the blockchain solutions, but they can even explore innovative areas. The blockchain can be implemented into the innovative areas for getting benefits related to business, social and technical
