Cryptocurrency Prices Fall More Than $17 Billion In Market Capitalization

Cryptocurrency prices dropped more than $17 Billion in the global cryptocurrency market.

Bitcoin price dropped nearly 5 percent against the USD, whereas altcoins include EOS, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Monero experienced double-digit losses. At the same time, Steller Lumens plunged over 6 percent.

Dropil is another cryptocurrency backed by independent tools platform that has gained more than 15 percent against the USD. The value of DROP/USD pair rose from 0.0034 to 0.0044 fiat in intraday. Bitcoin Diamond, the hard fork of Bitcoin, has made a positive footprint in the Market Capitalization. BCD/USD pair gained more than 250 percent.

EOS/USD pair fell around 16.30 percent. Ethereum closed to 15 percent loss. Whereas the ETH/USD pair touched around 244-fiat. In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin Cash and EOS lost more than 16 percent. BCH/USD pair sat around 531-fiat; the pair has faced 16.5 percent loss, according to a report by CCN.

It is reported that an analyst said that changes can happen in Bitcoin markets. If Bitcoin falls below $7,000, then the cryptocurrency prices may fall below $6,000. Bitcoin could avoid the downtrend to mid-$6,000 and touched $8000 range, if it raises its value from $7,200 to $7,300 range, according to a report by Money Control.

“A lot of retail investors’ hopes for a bigger institutional presence were really being driven by Goldman Sachs,” Stephen Innes, head of trading for the Asia Pacific at Oanda Corporation said. “This is just a negative, negative sign as far as liquidity goes.”
